Episode 108: Claim Your Own Unique Spiritual Gift This Holiday Season

We are in the season of gifts! It’s so great to know that others are thinking about you, but we also have the ability to receive spiritual gifts in our lives. We all have something called soul gifts and within each of us, we are gifted these beautiful things to take care of and nourish; and most importantly, these are the kinds of gifts you have to share to the world.    This week’s theme is: Own your unique spiritual gifts. Claim it!     Highlights: We all have spiritual gifts inside of us. [3:25] Sonia T. internalized she wasn’t gifted at a young age due to her teachers, but that could not be further from the truth! [6:10] Own your gift for yourself. Don’t let the world define it for you! [7:35] When Sonia C. took her first book to an editor, they asked her if English was her first language! She was so ashamed. [9:20]  Whatever your gift might be, it does require a level of vulnerability to share. [11:45] We need to create an active practice in celebrating ourselves and really celebrating the unique gifts of our friends. [18:45] If anybody is being a super grinch this season. [37:00]   What do you know about yourself to be true that no one has to tell you? Something that’s so ingrained in you that it’s almost like a second skin? It also doesn’t need to be overly complicated! Don’t let your barking dog get overwhelmed. What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about your special or unique gifts? Write this down!    If you weren’t really ‘seen’ at home, gifts were something people acknowledged in you, but maybe you never quite felt it was a genuine gift or natural talent in you. We might even have deep-seated limiting beliefs that everyone around you is exceptional…except for you. This is not at all accurate!
