These humble seeds are delicious, nutritious, drought-resistant, and healthy for us and the planet, but they have often been forgotten. 2023 is the International Year of Millets – a designation given by the United Nations. The UN’s Food and Agricultural Organization is seizing that opportunity to promote what could be a powerful staple for people in an era of climate change.
