EPISODE 173 - Clark, Hyung, and John open the show discussing the roll out of the MLB Debut Patch baseball cards in 2023 Topps Chrome Update products. More specifically, they give their two cents on breakers getting the live cards in the product while hobby/jumbo/retail boxes have the hits come as redemption cards.
With the option to send off the redemption cards to grading companies such as Beckett, SGC, and CGC (yes, no PSA), the question is does this mean the redeemed card that's shipped directly from the manufacturer to the grader will return automatically with a high grade. If not, why not?
