He would bring an end to evil; He would overcome Satan  and  his  demons.  He would  reign  in  righteousness  (Jeremiah  23:  5  KJV).  His  kingdom would  be  an everlasting kingdom (Daniel 7: 27 KJV). On these promises they waited and they prayed.Rooks, C.
