Marion Rabate was born in Paris and grew up between Paris and London. Her love for the ballet, led her to her passion for costumes, music and the arts. From an early age, Marion dreamt of creating her own brand. Marion studied Engineering in Paris and MIT, Boston. In her diverse career, Marion worked at the Louvre Museum and subsequently in the world of finance. More recently, she was involved in fundraising for fashion brands that led her back to her dream of starting her brand. Marion’s journey began by her research in museum archives where she discovered
 the heritage corsetry of Leoty. This inspired her to create her own athleisure
 brand incorporating the ethos of Leoty, “Couture for Leisure”. Ernest Leoty launched in 2018 and since then Marion has grown her business from strength to strength.
 
Fans of the brand include influencers such as Niomi Smart, Debora Rosa, Olivia Lopez, Anna Vitiello, Bettina Looney, Laura Bailey and VIP Emma Roberts. Her pieces are now sold on Net a Porter, Matches, and Mytheresa.
