Laura Schott

From growing up in the rural parts of Oregon in the days of Clive Charles, to playing and achieving hall of fame status at UC Berkeley, to leaving college early for USWNT call ups and playing pro up top with the likes of Abby Wambach and Mia Hamm; Laura Schott can do it all. She went on to coach D1 college soccer at Portland State and is currently coaching D3 at George Fox University while she also commentates for the NWSL Portland Thorns. But most importantly she is a dear friend and former teammate of many of us here at FF. Laura brings a quirky, dry sense of humor, rich experiences and informed opinions to our conversation. This is our first of many conversations and we can’t wait to have her back to discuss all types of current events in the female soccer space.
