When Andy had her first baby, no one knew how to help her breastfeed. Once she figured it out, she developed a passion for birth work. As a birth worker for over 25 years, she noticed that lactation support was always an afterthought of care for new parents. She saw her younger self in the faces of these new parents who were left with very little help. When she realized this gap, she earned her role as an IBCLC and tapped into her own personal experiences to help parents who struggled as she did.
