Ahmed Al-kadri is a Yemenis stand-up comedian and actor who started in Dallas once-upon-a-time ago. Now based out of Los Angeles, Ahmed has gone on to headline all over the United States and Europe. Ahmed can be seen performing regularly at the World-Famous Hollywood Improv as well as Improv and Levity clubs all over the southwest. My relationship with Ahmed dates back to 2017 when he first got to LA. I was a total schmuck then. We talk about that, how unhealthy it is comparing your successes to the successes of your peers, the importance of loving yourself, forging your own path both professionally and creatively, doing comedy in Europe, ayahuasca, mushrooms, meditation, the crisis in the Middle East, how no one is too good for open mics, what a special feeling watching your peers grow is, and a bajillion other things.
