Nick Wevurski is a Vermont-based comedian, producer at Woolen Mill Comedy Club in Bridgewater and produces Vermont Comedy Festival. The festival kicks off this Thursday 11/30 and will be headlined by Colin Quinn. My friendship with Nick dates back to 2016 when he was doing comedy in Los Angeles. Navigating the scene, we quickly became best friends; slingin' jokes and gettin' rowdy at places like Fanatic Salon and Cinema Bar every week. During the pandemic, Nick moved back to Vermont. Despite 2,900 miles between us, me and Nick still talk on the phone two to three times a week. I don’t have a lot of friends who I’m on phone call terms with like that, so getting to see him again was special to me.
