As things stand today, the Seattle Seahawks are currently OVER the salary cap headed into the 2024 season, but don't panic. The team has plenty of avenues to clear payroll space to retain or add key players.
Just what those moves are and which players they'll impact will depend largely on who is hired as the next head coach to succeed Pete Carroll, who was fired January 10th after 14 seasons at the helm.
