Weather in 5, 5/18/2024. we have a weekend in the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic which is not perfect but not terrible either as a weather system weakens as it moves through the Northeast. Some heavy rain in the Mid Atlantic as well as along the Gulf Coast comes with thunderstorms and some severe weather risk today. Next week we see the potential for widespread severe weather Tuesday in the Midwest.
