Fresh Perspectives on Sustainability in Hawaii

After many years away from my childhood home, being back in Oahu, Hawaii this year was illuminating in many good and bad ways. Most of the examples here are focused on the main island of Oahu - the business and government center of the Hawaiian islands. Actually, I had expected Hawaii to be further along in some sustainability focused areas and surprised by progress in other areas.
