Episode 18 -- The MLB Amateur Player Draft

This week Josh takes Tom on a deep dive of the MLB Amateur Player Draft (the drama with the Kumar Rocker signing this week is totally coincidental). Looking in particular at the 1987, 1988 and 1989 drafts, we see how much dumb luck drives the draft. Some Hall of Famers were taken early in those drafts, but there were some taken very late in those drafts as well. There were also a lot of busts, including a famous friend of the pod. Come join us on our journey. Tom also unfavorably compares Albert Belle to Trevor Bauer... this was recorded immediately before the allegations against Bauer came out. Bauer now appears to a much bigger POS.
