230. When life gives you LEMONS make lemonade with PSYCHOTHERAPIST Lynette McDonald

Lynette McDonald grew up as an only child until the age of 8 when her parents welcomed her new little sister. The joy of having a sibling and spending time with her mother doing service brought Lynette peace until her 8th grade year when her father came home from the hospital to let her know that her mother had cancer all over her body. Lynette's mother passed away later that year and left her feeling the load of caring for her little sister and home. Her father moved the family with his new wife to an unfamiliar area in high school. Lynette was introduced to the gospel at this time and was baptized. 3 days before graduation, she married Mike. They started their family right away, but at 6 months of pregnancy the baby had no heart beat. She found out that she had cancer and would spend the next months with treatments. Adoptions, cancer, raising children, working as mental health therapist and serving a mission in the Philippians with Mike were just a few of her life experiences.
