Low pressure in the Southern Plains takes an easterly track and redevelops in Eastern North Carolina late Tuesday before moving just off the coast Wednesday. Severe weather with heavy rain & elevated tornado risk runs across the Gulf States & Northern Florida today and in the Southeast US, Northern & Central Florida Tuesday. Rain moves into the Northeast & Mid Atlantic states later Tuesday & Wednesday.
