Winter Storm Warnings are up from Northern West Virginia and Western Maryland to Pennsylvania to New England including areas near NYC and Boston as well as areas northwest and west of Philadelphia. Up to a foot of snow could fall in some areas, especially inland. Severe weather is occurring tonight across the Southeast US as a storm heads up the Appalachians and a cold front swings through. Tuesday brings heavy snow to much of the Northeast as a major storm moves off the Virginia coast and strengthens.
