Tornado risk is elevated as well. Gloom and doom conditions will gradually spread across the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic tonight and Friday with onshore winds and on and off rain. The weekend sees only marginal improvement in this area as upper troughs play through both Saturday and Sunday with the chance for showers.
