Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35PM 1/9/2024 The first of two (and perhaps 3) major storms is underway in the Eastern US. Heavy rain, fierce winds gusting to near 70 mph near the coast, coastal flooding at high tide will occur over a wide area from Maine to Georgia. Severe weather is possible ahead a cold front that passes overnight. Another storm in the Western US will head for the Southern Plains. This storm will also become a major storm as it heads to the Lower Great Lakes. Heavy snow will occur north and west of the storm track. Heavy rain, coastal flooding and strong winds once again will occur up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Very cold air will spread into the Eastern and Southern US over the weekend and that could set up a third storm for early next week. This one is lkely to track along the East Coast with rain and snow likely.
