A new storm is forming in the Southern Plains and will bring another round of strong winds, heavy rain, and coastal flooding Friday into Saturday for the Eastern US. Severe weather will break out again across the South and Southeast US. Heavy snow will fall around the Great Lakes and the Upper Mississippi Valley. Very cold air will spread across the east and south over the weekend and into next week when more snow chances will appear.
