Finding Your Center: Your Path to Freedom To Reduce Overwhelm as a Business Owner

Release Date:

Finding your center is the key to #emotionalfreedom. The simple truth is that even though there is a common belief within our society that being self-centered is negative, that does not change the fact that you are the center of your reality. Radical self-center allows for true #freedom because it gives you permission to accept that you are the most important person in your reality and to live a life of #alignment with your #corevalues. Today, hosts Ben and Paige Easter talk about the concept of radical self-center and the value of #authenticity for achieving freedom.Martyrdom, or the idea that sacrificing yourself for others, is inherently good and is an incredibly pervasive concept going all the way back to the Bible. The fact is that this belief is beneficial to those in power because it can cause people to be more compliant. In truth, you are the judge of ‘good’ or ‘bad’ in your own reality, and it is perfectly okay if your versions of ‘good’ or ‘bad’ do not match with what you believe society would think. Being self-centered is not negative, regardless of what you may have been told. When you are living in alignment with your authentic self, you are more likely to find your tribe and contribute to the lives of others in ways that are unique to you. When you are always sacrificing your own needs and desires for what you think other people would want, you are doing yourself a disservice. This behavior keeps you from finding your freedom and living a life of authenticity. Give yourself permission to accept that you are the center of your reality and make choices from a place of alignment based entirely on your own core values, not those of others. Quotes“Radical self-centeredness is one of the key shifts to living a life of freedom and authenticity.” (2:27-2:32 | Ben)“What if you don't have to sacrifice your life for a greater good? What if you could just do things that were really wonderful and fulfilling for you, and then noticed the benefit that came to people around you when you were living a life of alignment?” (5:21-5:34 | Paige)“What does freedom mean, if not authenticity, and really the ability to be yourself in any situation.” (10:35-10:42 | Ben)LinksConnect with Ben and Paige Easter:Website: https://lucidshiftcoaching.com/LWebsite: https://lucidshiftcoaching.com/Lucid Shift Coaching IG: https://www.instagram.com/lucid_shift_coaching/Project Candlelight: https://airtable.com/shr5p0P2793RtRk2kThis podcast that helps business owners reduce overwhelm, beat imposter syndrome, and lead with confidence and clarity by diving into practical strategies for breaking through self-imposed ceilings, tackling the fear of not being good enough or worthy enough, and overcoming the fear of failure.
