The Next Step for Hunters

On this episode of The Nomadic Outdoorsman, Dan talks with Aaron Olson from Next Step outdoors about his progression as a hunter and to hear how the 2023 season turned out.Growing up in the picturesque landscapes of Northern Michigan, Aaron Olsen discovered a love for the great outdoors early on. At the age of 12, he began bowhunting whitetail deer, honing his skills and building a deep connection with nature. During his college years, Aaron dedicated much of his time to playing college basketball, immersing himself in the sport. However, post-college, he reignited his passion for deer hunting, taking it to new levels of enthusiasm.In 2017, Aaron took a significant step by founding the "Next Step Outdoors" YouTube channel. This platform became his canvas to share the knowledge he gained over the years, aiming to assist fellow hunting enthusiasts and expedite their learning curve. Just over a year ago, fueled by a strong desire to live his passion, Aaron made the courageous decision to leave his full-time corporate job and fully commit to building the channel.
