Find out how the pH system is important in living things around us brought to you by Chemistry PHURPLE’EM pH Kit Teams.  The pH system is used to measure the acidity and basicity level of an aqueous solution. The concept of pH was first invented in German by a chemist named  Søren Peder Lauritz Sørensen in 1909 to produce electrochemical components. What are the importance of pH to us and other living things? Three informative panels were invited to have a small talk about their invention containing purple yam as a natural product.
