The Gospel of Thomas is unique from many other sacred texts in that it is simple a book of sayings - 114 to be exact. Let's dive into just who the Gnostics were (or weren't), what it means to be a Gnostic, the group's relationship with Hermeticism, and the influence of Buddhist ideas on early Christianity.
