The Adventures of Power Dog in Dogland! Presents: Sea Stories for Wonder Ears

Thank you for tuning in to a special, bedtime-friendly bonus episode of The Adventures of Power Dog in Dogland about falling in love with the sea! This is a story about a sweet puppy named Taffy. She lives on a planet of dogs and other friendly creatures called Dogland. We have sometimes referred to her as the bravest dog in all of Dogland, but a quality she has that we really admire is her curiosity. For this young pup who sat by the sea and who wondered — and for other puppies who wonder — What sea stories are yet to be told?
We explain what “zoomies” are, how water travels through the world to become part of the ocean, what is left when you dry out ocean water, and what salt and lime crystals look like under a microscope. This story is inspired by the first part of a short and lovely book in the public domain called Sea Stories for Wonder Eyes by Mary Earle Hardy.
