Elena has chosen Silent Night, Deadly Night (85 mins). The 1984 psychological slasher was directed by Charles E. Sellier, Jr., and stars Robert Brian Wilson, Lilyan Chauvin, and Gilmer McCormick.
Sam and Elena discuss the controversial marketing material, the elevated Santa slasher genre and how the film explores childhood trauma with a festive spin.
