S1 - E16 (1): Marcus Thurgate (Part One - Shark Life)

As the season draws to a close I am joined by Chiba Sharks wicket-keeper and opening batter Marcus Thurgate who gives us the inside scoop on how the Sharks have managed to make three JCL Finals in the last four years, winning two of them including the 2021 edition. Marcus talks about growing up in Chiba and going through the Japanese school system, his desire to give back to the Sharks in the years to come, and his envy of Tsuyoshi Takada's big game heroics. 
Apologies for the background noise during much of this episode, it turned out that my nine-month-old was pretty keen to get in on the chat, thankfully she fell asleep by the time we begin Part Two...which you can hear next week.
