PSA Twittercast Ep. 4: Pride Month and the Yankees

Release Date:

Josh Diemert served as moderator for an important Twitter Space discussion on June 16th, when he talked with a number of different members of the queer baseball community about their fan origins, stories of following team and Pride participation, and of course, the Yankees. The Yanks are one of only two MLB teams to not have a Pride Night, and it's a real problem considering how many of their fans identify as queer in some capacity (not to mention the fact that they literally play in New York City).
Featured guests include Matthew Bramlett, Ken Schultz, and Alex Plinck, and the roundtable really begins at the 15-minute mark. PSA's Madison Pavich and Peter Brody also joined later on, and at the very end of the show, Madison came out and explained her name change from Ryan. Peter had an announcement of his own, as well.
Special thanks to Twitter user Dan for jumping in first to start the conversation with Josh when we were waiting for the guests to work through Twitter's technical difficulties to join in (and for contributing for the duration of the podcast as well).
