PSA Twittercast Ep. 1: Post-Lockout Frenzy

We're testing out something new in the Pinstripe Alley Podcast's return to the airwaves in 2022. Our own Josh Diemert began hosting Twitter Spaces in the second half of the 2021 campaign, and Twitter now allows users to record their hosted Spaces. Andrew and Kunj will still host the standard show during the regular season, but for now, since we had the raw audio file, we wanted to let you all listen to more PSA voices!
Josh hosted a Twitter Space on the night of Wednesday, March 16th, with fellow PSA writers Peter Brody and Esteban Rivera. They chatted about the attention-grabbing Josh Donaldson/Isiah Kiner-Falefa/Ben Rortvedt/Gary Sánchez/Gio Urshela trade with the Twins, Anthony Rizzo's return to pinstripes, the Yankees' hesitance to splurge on big-time free agents, and the tension surrounding New York City's vaccine mandates and a certain superstar right fielder. Toward the end, they also played a game where predicted over/under win totals on every American League team, from the offseason favorite Blue Jays to the clearance sale A's and the hapless Orioles.
