Kathleen Burkinshaw, second-generation A-bomb victim

She grew up in Hiroshima and she was about two miles away from the epicenter. So the journey of the book is kind of how I found out about my mother's story because I did not know she was from Hiroshima until I was 11. She always told people she was from Tokyo."
