Jamz Supernova on balancing motherhood and DJing, race and representation and touring

When Jamz Supernova was younger she dreamed of becoming a TV presenter, it was through this curiosity that she discovered a real passion for radio and DJing. She is a label head, radio host, DJ, podcaster and overall tastemaker. She started her career on the online radio station, Reprezent before moving on to BBC Radio 1Xtra which won the Best Specialist Aria Gold award in 2021. She currently hosts a weekly show on BBC 6Music.In this episode Jamz talks to Emily about balancing motherhood whilst being a touring DJ.
