Lance needs to vent. He's not happy with parents who seem to only be happy when other kids do badly. It's a team sport and Lance tees off on those who can't appreciate the greatness of team play.
Randall has an observation about parents with open aspirations for their kids. Expectations are welcome. Professional aspirations are great. Expecting that your kid is going to the NHL is something that might be counter productive.
