Red Sox Hall of Famer Tim Wakefield passed away on Sunday October 1st. The loss is a sudden one, and one that cuts deep for all members of Red Sox Nation. Steve and Joey recount his incredible career that spanned from 1992-2011, and more importantly the kind of person that Wake was. With 8 Roberto Clemente Award nominations, his dedication to charity and the Boston community was unrivaled, and left an effect on Red Sox fans that will not soon be forgotten. For 28 years, Tim Wakefield has been a part of our lives; on the mound, in the booth, and in our community. His passing is one that has left us all stunned and hurt beyond words.
