Since their formation in 2007, The Baseball Project has become a part of the game by creating musical tributes to baseball, its stories and stars - and it’s impact on American culture… 
An indie rock super group composed of Steve Wynn (Dream Syndicate), Scott McCaughey (Young Fresh Fellows), Linda Pitmon (Zuzu’s Petals) and Mike Mills and Peter Buck (R.E.M.), The Baseball Project has become well-loved for their brilliant, catchy and historically accurate songs of baseball lore and oddball characters! 
And this season, their fourth studio album "Grand Salami Time!" hit record stores on June 30th via Omnivore Recordings and produced by Mitch Easter, who worked with Mills and Buck in the ’80s on R.E.M.’s early albums, including their debut EP, Chronic Town, and their debut album, Murmur.
