Alex Gutentag on school closures, masking and vaccine mandates, and the great Covid wealth transfer

Last week I interviewed Alex Gutentag, a former Oakland public school teacher and, in my opinion, one of the best writers on Covid-19 around. Like me, Alex comes from a leftist background rooted in the labor movement, and, like me, she’s become highly skeptical of much of what has become conventional wisdom on the left.
