In this episode, we discuss how it represents Jesus as our propitiation or SPONGE. This is one of the greatest truths about the Gospel! Jesus Christ absorbed the wrath of God for us. Any wrath or any recompense that is poured out towards us in payment for our sin, Christ comes between us and that judgment from God. He absorbs it. For this week, so close to Easter, we challenge you to:Listen to the new episode and dive in with us into this beautiful hymn, and be thankful, grateful, and mindful of sacrifices made, but even more than that remember that:  You have a God who loves you enough to send His son to die for you while you were still a sinner.
