Release Date:

Today's guest is Michael Honegger. Michael is a professional photographer and author. He spent much of his youth growing up in West Germany in the 1960s. His father was an officer with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Michael knew almost nothing of his father's career at the time, but there were a lot of clues that he was involved in some very important and very secretive work. Years later, Michael embarked on a quest to learn more about his father's work and put it into the larger context of the Cold War. On the podcat and in his book, Michael shares stories, records, and photos, both from his own family's years in West Germany, the archives of the East German Stasi, and from the Berlin Spy Museum.Connect with Michael:michaelhoneggerphotos.comIG: @michaelhoneggerphotosCheck out Michael's book, Need to Know, here.https://blowuppress.eu/collections/bup-publications/products/the-need-to-knowConnect with Spycraft 101:Check out Justin's latest release, Covert Arms, here.spycraft101.comIG: @spycraft101Shop: spycraft-101.myshopify.comPatreon: Spycraft 101Find Justin's first book, Spyshots: Volume One, here.Download the free eBook, The Clandestine Operative's Sidearm of Choice, here.Centurion Combat SimulationsHave you ever wanted to feel what it's like to operate in the shadows?KruschikiThe best surplus military goods delivered right to your door.
