#59: Stories from the Osprey

The Osprey Trail Run was back for 2022 at the George LeStrange Preserve in Fort Pierce, Florida! With 186 total finishers between the 25k and 8k distance; Adam Savo, Lauren Starr, and Amy Columbo were among the many. They did amazing!
Adam placed 8th overall with a time of 2:21:31 for the 25k. Running has always been the thing athletically to push him to his limits. His last few races haven't gone nearly as with 4 DNF's since March. However, the Osprey was the race to get him back on track and he did it! It's always about the grind and pushing on even in suffering!
Lauren Starr placed 42nd overall and 17th for the woman's side with a time of 3:34:42! She's done races like the Skydive Ultra and the Long Play Trail Run with Gate2Gate and the Black Canyon 60k on her calendar! 
Amy Colombo placed 26th overall and 7th for the woman's side with a time of 2:53:32! With her friendly face and booming Boston accent, she’s hard to miss! The Osprey (plus some morning miles) was marathon number 44 of 52 of her Gratitude Marathons. She's running to raise awareness that an addiction disorder does not have to be a death sentence in part with The Herron Project. 
The Herron Project is an organization who dedicates themselves to ending the stigma associated with addiction and alcoholism and providing tools for those ready and willing to get the help they need. Amazing!
