Today, in Oser la Reconversion, we welcome Clare Vivier, a californian fashion designer.After working as a journalist for French television with her French husband, Clare launched Clare V., her own line of leather goods and accessories in 2008. Based in Los Angeles, Clare V. quickly became a must-have designer for American fashionistas with 14 boutiques in the USA and collaborations with brands such as Anthropologie, & Other Stories, Le Bon Marché and, more recently, Monoprix.
I met Clare this winter for her collaboration with Monoprix and the launch of her pop-up in Paris, and she kindly accepted my invitation to talk about her journey from journalist to fashion designer.
