242. My SEARCH for God with Megan Buettgenback

Megan grew up in Nebraska with her 2 older brothers and parents. After her dad returned from Iraq their family moved to Glenrock Wyoming. Megan adjusted to her new life and started making friendships with kids in the community. Coming up to her senior year of high school, her grandparents on both sides began to pass away. Megan had enjoyed her life of fun, friends, boys and basketball and felt that she wanted to have a personal relationship with God. She began to go online and read prayers and sermons. She would write in her journal prayers. Right before her senior year her friend Logan invited her to go on a drive and visit. Logan was preparing to leave on a mission and during the drive the conversation turned to God. Logan invited Megan to ask questions to the missionaries. They set up a time to answer Megan‘s questions. Megan was also attending many different churches trying to find God. She had asked God to please lead her to people that would bring her to Christ. In October, Megan was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.
