237. Being HEALED, Becoming WHOLE

While sitting in a RS lesson, I began to think of the parable of the 10 lepers. 1 of the lepers returned to thank the Savior. The Savior asked were there not 9 others? Then, he told the 1 leper to go his way, "thy faith hath made thee WHOLE". For the last few years, I have been thinking about the difference between being HEALED and becoming WHOLE. I have spent time looking through different scriptures and talks to learn more. Join me today as I share some of the scriptures and quotes that have helped me better understand being HEALED and becoming WHOLE.
Luke 17
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

“My brothers and sisters, God is our loving Father in Heaven. He has given all power and knowledge to His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Because of Him, all mankind will one day be healed of every physical ailment forever. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, if we choose to repent and turn our hearts fully to the Savior, He will heal us spiritually. That healing can begin immediately. The choice is ours. Will we be made whole?
I testify that Jesus Christ paid the price so that we can be made whole. But we must choose to take that healing medicine He offers. Take it today. Do not delay.”
