Blogs can be the most important service on in the web, along with e-mail and Wiki, but today, it’s not the same as it used to be before social media platforms. Is it still a good idea to create a blog and post things in a time where microblogs (such as Twitter) are taking over? How do people interact with long contents and just how does certain initiatives help promoting the concept of creative blogging?

Hanan Ali of Hanan blog is an industrial engineering student at KAU, she's been blogging since 2013 and has over 1000 followers on her blog. She usually publishes 2 posts a month in addition to her monthly wrap up post. She writes about her life, her experiences, books, documentary movies and many other things. She is a member of "bloggers window" an initiative that supports and promotes blogging.
