Braves Country featuring David Barbe

David Barbe has been referred to as having the most widespread influence of any single person in the Athens, Georgia music scene due to his involvement with so many different artists and recording projects over the years. Barbe is a 1986 University of Georgia graduate and is now the Director of the UGA Music Business Program. In between, he’s played in many well known bands (Mercyland, Buzz Hungry, SUGAR, and solo records), produced, written, and performed on hundreds of recording projects (Drive-By Truckers, Son Volt, Deerhunter, R.E.M., Amy Ray of The Indigo Girls, Kevn Kinney of Drivin’ N’ Cryin’, The Glands, Jerry Joseph, K.D. Lang, and many more).
