In this episode we discuss his second book in his Dark Creatures series and the dark, intricate plot. He told me how he got into horror around age 10, his love for universal monster movies, and why Gen Zers need to give black and white horror movies a chance. He also told me how he prepared to get inside the mind of one of his characters who is a psychopath and why he thinks horror fans are more grounded in tense situations.
