FWEP00048 Alverna Cher(02:00-02:08) I’m the first type planner in Singapore that helps my clients to write wills, arrange LPA and also advance funeral planning.  (02:11-02:27) In my opinion, writing a will is important for everyone. It’s not only for the rich, why? Because you want to leave down a clear instructions to our next kid. Clear instructions on how to handle our assets if there’s any or  02:36 Yeah, generally,  people  will but actually writing a will is not expensive with us. But if you choose to right the will with a lawyer then that will be costly. But in Singapore, we don’t need a lawyer to write a will. A will is actually very simple. No need for a computer.  (03:04-03:14) So in a will you only need to write for example, me, my name, my company, future in what percentage, that’s all. (03:49) Even if you there’s no will then people in a family complicates the whole issue and eventhough they want a claim for   (04:14-04:37) In Asia, especially Singapore people are too very taboo to talk about it. But actually it can cure many.  In Singapore, I'm also the first one you know to do a pre plan enrol for insurance component. That means people they buy this pre plan funeral in advance and this money will help them to do the funeral plan.  (04:51-05:04) Expenses? So there are known other expenses that they need to pay. They also can choose what coffin they wanna sleep in. What kind of decoration on funeral.  (06:04) I actually involve people in their life   (07:09) We try to identify who needs help so the people who really needs help  (07:39) Yes, being a mother, an entrepreneur it’s all about time management. A lot of things  have to juggle at the same time so I used to change time for money. I found  (08:28-08:46) For me, there was a time that I am a housewife so Majin left me. I’m only left with $400,000 then I have to shoulder everything so at the time we had this business, funeral business,  so I ask myself because I am a housewife. (09:37) So I go around sharing with people how to write a will, how to plan .
