Workshop: Forecasting | Austin Chen | EAG DC 22

In this workshop, Austin talks about the principles of forecasting, how and why forecasting might be important to the EA community, and walks through some exercises to help attendees hone forecasting skills. The session involves a hands-on demonstration on how to use the prediction market set up at Manifold Markets. This workshop will be most useful to people who don't already have extensive experience with forecasting and/or using prediction markets.Effective Altruism is a social movement dedicated to finding ways to do the most good possible, whether through charitable donations, career choices, or volunteer projects.
