Jim has taught floristry at MSU, won the award of service to the floral industry in 2016 from AIFD, he’s coauthored books on floral design, interior plantscaping, floristry history, and floristry terminology just to name a few. His research continues and benefits cut flower and cut ornamental foliage growers and producers directly in Mississippi, and throughout the Southeast.
