Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Remember those movies from the mid-2000s where Kate Beckinsale wore a lot of skintight leather and fought werewolves? (The correct answer is "sort of...?") Turns they made five of them and we're watching the third one, 2009's Underworld: Rise of the Lycans! It's a prequel movie, so no Kate Beckinsale, but instead we get Bill Nighy and Michael Sheen taking bites out of the scenery as we learn the origin of the centuries old blood feud between vampires and werewolves. Be prepared to take notes, because this franchise has A LOT of world-building. Unfortunately, it doesn't have much else.
