In this episode of Sword and Pen, host Lori King checks in with Navy veteran Tony Mobley, one of the Top 10 Military Veterans in Journalism of 2020. Tony's entry, Photo Series: Black Lives Matter Protests, earned him that recognition. Tony talks about how he documented life on the biggest warship in the U.S. Navy; his covid coverage during the height of the pandemic in 2020; and why a photo of his baby sister inspired him to become a photographer at nine years old.  We also have a real conversation about racism among black photographers and the power of diversity.
