We're not saying that real estate syndications or the people leading them are bad. In fact, we led a syndication last year when we bought our 160 unit property. It's just that the people selling you on these syndications sometimes are not telling you the whole truth. And it makes sense. Being on the active side of investing is extremely lucrative.
