35: Frances Solá-Santiago, Fashion Writer & Author: Writing Your First Book & Not Drinking Media Industry Kool-Aid

Release Date:

Frances is always one of my favorite people to run into at a press event–she's down-to-earth, kind, and one of the most hardworking writers that I know. Case in point, with her first book newly released, this was the perfect time for her to share her story with you. Frances was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is now based in New York where she's worked with Refinery29, The Cut, Rolling Stone, and more. Now, she's adding author to her list of accomplishments as her first book Little Book of Bottega Veneta: The Story of the Iconic Fashion House recently hit shelves. In the episode, we chat about the process of writing a book, the history of Bottega Veneta, her journey within the media industry, and her takes on staying grounded through it all.
